Pam Wright, a retired paraeducator from Central Kitsap School District, has always been someone who shows up for students and teachers. Even in retirement, she continues to pour her support into the school community she cares so deeply about.
When she heard about the fire at Green Mountain, she wanted to do something tangible to help. Offering to create a mural is more than an artistic contribution — it’s a symbol of hope, resilience, and community.
Look closely and you’ll see that it’s made up of a single hand from every student and teacher at Green Mountain. Each hand alone is small, but together they create something far greater — a reminder of how valuable our community is.
The bottom of the mural reads:
Many paws, one heart, Green Mountain Grizzlies doing their part.
Working together in unity, having fun rebuilding their community.
