🐻Principal Newsletter - June 2026🐻

Dear Green Mountain Families,

As we close out another school year, I want to take a moment to thank our incredible students, staff, and families for a year filled with learning, growth, resilience, and community. Together, we have celebrated successes, overcome challenges, and continued to create a school where students feel supported, valued, and inspired to learn.

Our students have worked hard this year and have much to be proud of. From academic growth and classroom accomplishments to performances, leadership opportunities, and acts of kindness, they have represented Green Mountain with pride. I am continually impressed by their perseverance, curiosity, and willingness to support one another.

I also want to express my gratitude to our families for your partnership throughout the year. Your support, encouragement, and trust make a tremendous difference in the success of our school community. Thank you for sharing your children with us each day and for working alongside us to help them thrive.

As summer begins, I hope each of you finds time to relax, recharge, and enjoy special moments with family and friends. We wish our fifth-grade students the very best as they begin their middle school journey and look forward to welcoming our returning students back in the fall.

Looking ahead to next school year, we are excited about the opportunity to begin the year with a gradual start for all students while our staff continues important professional learning during the afternoons. This structure will allow students to ease into routines, build relationships, and receive additional support as we establish a strong foundation for the year.
